Are you simply moving your old Blackboard folders into Canvas? Don't waste this opportunity to hit the "reset" button. This hands-on workshop is designed to help you transition from Blackboard to Canvas by focusing on pedagogy first.  We will move beyond treating your LMS as a static repository for PowerPoints and PDFs, instead transforming it into a vibrant, active learning hub.

Using the 4 C’s Framework (Clarity, Communication, Content Flow, and Collaboration), we will explore how to reduce student cognitive load and humanise the online experience. You will learn how to structure your Canvas modules to guide students seamlessly through a learning journey, rather than leaving them to dig through a digital filing cabinet. To make this transition creative and efficient, we will also introduce Google Gemini as your personal design partner.
